Gary Wayne Smith

Gary Wayne Smith, age 47 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 3:30pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Perry officiating. Burial to follow in the Jesse Privett Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1:30 pm Friday, April 20, 2018 at the funeral home.

He was born July 5, 1970 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Robert Edd and Joyce (Lewis) Smith. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, and telling his hunting and fishing stories.

His parents precede him in death.

Survivors include his brothers, Edgar Ralph of Indianapolis, Indiana; Carroll Ray of Pine Knot, Kentucky; Mance Randall and Danny Rex both of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Steve of Knoxville, Tennessee; sisters, Lena Rosie of Somerset, Kentucky and Lanta Sue of Pine Knot, Kentucky; numerous nieces and nephews.
