Scott Anthony Maxey

Scott Anthony Maxey, son of Gary and Freda Bryant Maxey passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 38, in Somerset, Kentucky.

Along with his parents, Gary and Freda Maxey, he is survived by his sisters; Sherry West and Samantha Maxey of Whitley City, nephews and nieces; Matthew West, Haylee West, Heather West, Katelyn Bryant, Kourtney Bryant and Kinlee Bryant, a special mud brother friend; Dano Harris, and his beloved fur baby; Sadie.

He enjoyed taking care of his animals, gardening, crafting, and dancing but his favorite was spending time with his family whom he loved dearly.

Funeral service for Scott is Friday, January 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM with visitation starting at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home, with Brother Clifford Slaven officiating and burial to follow  in Angel Cemetery.
