Gary Lee Anderson, age 67 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died October 28, 2012 at his home. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 1pm with Bro. Dennis Bryant and Pastor Leslie Gilreath officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Run Cemetery.
He was born in Holly Hill, Kentucky on November 27, 1944 the son of the late James Wiley and Nancy (Neal) Anderson. He was a merchant for 36 years and enjoyed helping maintain the Pleasant Run Church by helping put in new floors and doing the mowing.
His parents; brothers, Hurstle Anderson, Huston Anderson, Otis Anderson, Edward Anderson, Boyd Anderson, Jeff Anderson, and Arlis Anderson; and sisters, Bernice Anderson, Geneva Vanover, and Betty Lou Kidd precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife Judith Lynn (Perkins) Anderson; son, Kevin Anderson and wife, Charlotte; granddaughter, Hope Anderson all of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sisters, Shirley Rochelle Meadows and husband, Kenneth.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
