Garnie Lee Corder, age 72 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died May 19, 2013 at the McCreary Health and Rehab. Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 12:30pm at the Greenwood Cemetery with Bro. Larry Whitehead officiating.
He was born in Greenwood, Kentucky on April 30, 1941 the son of the late David Robert and Flonnie May (Hughes) Corder. He was a coal miner and attended the Pine Knot Freewill Baptist Church.
His parents; and brothers, Dewey Corder, Charles Corder, and Noble Corder precede him in death.
Survivors include his son, Rodney Corder and wife, Lisa of Whitley City, Kentucky; daughters, Tammie Corder, Teresa Coffey and husband, James, and Barbara Partin and husband, Earnest all of Somerset, Kentucky, brother, Clarence Corder of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sister, Leatha Gregory and husband, Edward of Stearns, Kentucky; and mother of his children, Allie Mason of Science Hill, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Sarah Allie Corder, Joshua Corder, Zachariah Corder, Haley Partin, Justin Longmire, Lindsay Godsey, Abby Coffey, Jessica Collins, and Jon and Megan Perry; and great grandchildren, Gavin Coffey and Ayden Gleason also survive.
