Galia Ann Stephens

Galia Ann Stephens, age 75 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died Sunday, April 17, 2022 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born in Scott County, Tennessee on December 14, 1946 the daughter of Roy and Mary (Ryan) Perkins. Galia was a retired School Teacher for the McCreary County School System and a member of the Whitley City Church of God.

Her parents and brother, Howard Ben Perkins preceed her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Garner Bradley Stephens (Jojo) of Marshes Siding, Kentucky and Roy William Stephens of Lexington Kentucky; sister, Peggy A. Perkins of Leesburg, Florida; grandchildren, Bradley Allison Lewis, George Riley Stephens, Casey Joe Stephens, and Josie Bette Stephens; and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Holloway Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 12pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
