Freddie J. Ridener age 80 of Stearns, Kentucky died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hosptial. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Jim Ridener officiating. Burial followed in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery.
He was born April 28, 1931 in Revelo, Kentucky to the late Jim and Bertha (Waters) Ridener. Freddie was a member of the Whitley City Methodist Church and had formerly worked as a Machine Operator.
His mother, father, and sisters, Brenda, Jeannette, and Dedee precede him in death.
Survivors include his son, Jim Ridener of Somerset, Kentucky; a daughter, Rita Anderson of Whitley City, Kentucky; a brother, James Edward Ridener, of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters, Wilma Jean Komer of Minnesota, Carolyn Sue Shoemaker of California, Joann Fightmaster of Sadieville, Kentucky, Linda Hammon and Geneva Jacobs both of Florence, Kentucky, and an aunt Maxine Stevens of Revelo, Kentucky; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
