Flonnie Marie Murphy

Flonnie Marie Murphy, age 87 years, of Revelo, Kentucky died Sunday, June 16, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Pine Knot, Kentucky on February 26, 1937 the daughter of Ernest and Lona (Foster) Miller. Flonnie had been a homemaker and member of the Lower Hickory Grove Baptist Church, and enjoyed working word puzzles books.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Glen Murphy, owner of Murphy’s Furniture and Appliance Store; brother, Robert Miller; sisters, Thelma Miller, Mildred Kelly, and Pauline Williams; and brother-in-law, Lonnie Worley.

Survivors include her son, David Murphy of Revelo, Kentucky; daughter Vicki Viselli and husband, Thomas of Columbia, South Carolina; sister, Mary Alice Worley of Independence, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 4pm Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Morgan and Bro. Delynn Waters officiating. Burial to follow in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 2pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
