Fletcher Vanover, age 67 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Sunday, February 23, 2020 at his home.
He was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on May 12, 1952 the son of Roman and Katherine (Morgan) Vanover. Fletcher had been a welder for Tecumseh, and enjoyed fishing, hunting and 4-wheelers.
His parents; wife, Evelyn Sue (Sears) Vanover; and brother, Francis Vanover precede him in death.
Survivors include his sons, Kenneth Clark and wife, Shonda of Corbin and Tony Matthew Vanover and wife, Alisha of Pine Knot; daughters, Kathy Sue Perry and husband, Daniel of Parkers Lake and Christy Ann Trice and husband, Eric of Crawfordville, Florida; brothers, Luster Vanover, Charles Vanover, Arnold Vanover, and Doyle Vanover all of Tiffin, Ohio; sister, Bertha Young of Parkers Lake; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren on the way.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 2pm in the Pleasant Knob United Baptist Church with Bro. Leroy Perry and Bro. David “Boone” Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Vanover Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the church.
