FAY LANDER TUCKER

Fay Lander Tucker, age 76 years, of the Sandhill Community died June 1, 2011 at his home. Funeral services were held Sunday June 5, 2011 at 1pm in the Marshes Siding Church of God with Rev. Hurstle Daugherty and Rev. Harry Watters officiating. Burial was in the Carter Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 6PM SATURDAY JUNE 4, 2011 AT THE MCCREARY COUNTY FUNERAL HOME. HE WILL LIE IN STATE AT THE CHURCH FROM 12NOON UNTIL FUNERAL SERVICE TIME SUNDAY JUNE 5, 2011. He was born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky on February 10, 1935 the son of the late George W. and Alice (Sellers) Tucker. He was a brick mason and a member and trustee of the Marshes Siding Church of God. His parents, brothers Otha Tucker, Walter Tucker, Wilkie Tucker, Ceaf Tucker, Ray Tucker, Claude Tucker, Robert Tucker, Luther Tucker, and Everett Tucker, and sister Nora Lewis, Lori Harris and Marie Baer precede him in death. Survivors include his wife Nina (Bryant) Tucker, son Duane Stitzel and wife Sally of Ludon, Tennessee, daughters Vicki Tucker of Whitley City, Kentucky and Beth Brooks of Winfield, Tennessee and brother Bud Tucker and wife Delta of Strunk, Kentucky. Grandchildren Sierra Strunk, Branden Strunk, and Macy Strunk also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
