EVELYN KEITH

Evelyn Owens Keith, age 95 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died January 31, 2013 in Pine Knot, Kentucky at the McCreary Health and Rehab.  Funeral services were held Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church at 11am with Rev. Danny Staley and Bro. Daniel Wightman officiating.  Burial was in the Nevelsville Cemetery.

She was born in Nevelsville, Kentucky on June 7, 1917 the daughter of the late James Garfield and Mary Martha (New) Owens.  She was a homemaker and member of the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church.

Her parents; husband, Rev. Charles Keith; daughter, Betty Keith New; brothers, Reed Owens and Daivd Owens; sisters, Vada Morrow, Frona Owens, Nora Massey, Nerva Tucker, and Christine Meredith; and grandson, Alan Keith precede her in death.

Survivors include her son, Clifford Keith and wife, Linda of Stearns, Kentucky; daughters, Rachel Wilson and husband, Cleo, Ann Six and husband, James, and Pauline Sumner and husband, Bob all of Whitley City, Kentucky.  8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; a niece raised like a sister, Margie Rhodes; and a host of relatives and friends also survive.
