EUGENE NICHOLS

Eugene Nichols, age 71, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018, at his home in Strunk, Kentucky.

Born in Hillsboro, Ohio, on November 28, 1946, he was the son of the late Roll Nichols and Ludena (Fletcher) Nichols Worley.  Besides her parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Vernice Perkins, three sisters: Christian, Deb, and Judy.

Surviving family include three sons: Robert Nickles, of Kenton, Ohio, Tom Nickles of Georgia and Adam Nickols of Kenton, Ohio, daughters: Rebecca Nutt of Whitley City, Mary Staley of Whitely City, Donna Plotts of Whitley City,  four sisters: Mandy Gibson of Lima, Ohio, Nancy Nichols, of Lima, Lisa Fay Gentry, Dora Fletcher of Strunk, Kentucky, two brothers: Ronnie Nichols of Lima, and Adam Perkins, of Stearns, Kentucky.  There are 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Eugene was an auto mechanic and loved his work.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

The family is receiving friends Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with graveside services to follow at the Mt. View Cemetery.
