Ethel King Crabtree Bryant, age 92 years, died February 22, 2011 at her daughterOs home in Chuckey, Tennessee. Funeral services were held Saturday February 26, 2011 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Fults and Rev. Bill Patrick officiating. Burial was in the Taylor Ridge Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 6PM FRIDAY FEBRUARY 25, 2011 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. She was born in Winfield, Tennessee on December 30, 1918 the daughter of the late Rev. Francis and Anna (Alcorn) King. She was Laundry Manager at the Job Corps and a member of the Sandhill United Baptist Church. Her parents husband George W. Crabtree, son Donald Crabtree, grandson Jimmy Crabtree and twin great granddaughters Amie and Rhae, brothers Charles King, George King, Willie King, and Alvis King, and sisters Amanda Anderson, Susie Perry, Mae Bryant, and Frona Taylor precede her in death. Survivors include her children Shirley (Kenny) Quick of Chuckey, Tennessee, Jim (Linda) Crabtree of Cleves Ohio, Charles David (Betty) Crabtree of Revelo, Kentucky, Sandy (Dwayne) Hickman of Stearns, Kentucky, and Rick Crabtree of Revelo, Kentucky, and sister Alice Patrick of Williamsburg, Kentucky. Fifteen grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
