Estil Spradlin

Estil Spradlin, age 57 years and 28 days of Revelo, Kentucky, husband of Denise (Gagne) Spradlin, passed from this life on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Baptist Health of Corbin.

He was born March 11, 1961 in Revelo, Kentucky to the late, Edward “Bud” Spradlin and Julie (Selvidge) Burchfield. Estil was a member of Beech Grove United Baptist Church, he had made his living as a Maintenance man working for the railroad and the school system.  He was a member of the Big South Fork Bee Keepers, enjoyed working his honey bees, fishing, wood working, drinking coffee and visiting with his friends, but mostly he enjoyed going to church.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Darrell Edward Jones, Newtie Spradlin, Carl Spradlin, Earl Spradlin, Norman “Dickie” Jones and Herstle Spradlin; sisters, Edith Spradlin, Aileen Spradlin, Alma Wilson; and his grandson, Justus Spradlin.

Surviving family include his wife of sixteen years, Denise Spradlin of Revelo; daughters, Macie Lee Spradlin, of Revelo, Jamie (Randy) Davis of Somerset, Janie (Bob) McCart of Robbins, TN, Sarah (James) Bowling of Robbins, TN, Amy Blackburn of Robbins, TN., and a son; Joey Spradlin of Huntsville, TN., brother, Emery Jones of Indianapolis, Indiana; sisters, Bobbie Jo (Lester) Stephens, Diane (Bobby) Nelson, and Sarah Stephens all of Revelo, Kentucky; grandchildren, Megan Davis, Nathan Davis, Cayden, Elijah, Alisen McCart, Little Joe Spradlin, Wyatt and Jayden Bowling, Noah Goad, Calli Smith, Bentley Garr.

Funeral services will be held in McCreary County Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Bro. Sammy Vaughn and Bro. Robert Hatfield officiating, visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 beginning at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.  Burial to follow in the Burchfield Cemetery.
