Estes G. “Gas Bag†Lewis, age 80 years, of Revelo, Kentucky died August 19, 2013 at his home. Funeral services were held Friday, August 23, 2013 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. David Ball officiating. Burial was in the McCreary Memorials Gardens.
He was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on December 25, 1932 the son of the late Roy W. and Artie L. (Hamblin) Lewis. He was a bartender, member of the Church of Christ, and American Legion Post #115.
His parents; brothers, Floyd Lewis and Morgan Lewis; and sisters, Illa Shaver and Mary Jo Runion precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Linda E. (Lambert) Lewis of Revelo, Kentucky; daughters, Anita Cooper (Dewayne) and Rhonda Armijo (Ray) both of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, Lloyd Lewis of Greenwood, Kentucky, Louie Lewis of Munice, Indiana, and Morris Lewis of Brownsville, Indiana; and sister, Shirley Bryant of Whitley City, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Michael E. Bryant, Dustin Cooper, Benjamin Armijo, and Xander (Tater Bug) Armijo and great grandchildren, Nicholas Bryant, Brooklynne Bryant, and Nathan Bryant also survive.
