ESAU ROSS

Esau Ross, age 75 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died April 2, 2011 in Corbin, Kentucky at the Baptist Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Tuesday April 5, 2011 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Rufus Hughes and Rev. Doug Sexton officiating. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECIEVE FRIENDS AFTER 6PM MONDAY APRIL 4, 2011 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. He was born in Worley, Kentucky on September 8, 1935 the son of the late Jasper and Pinkie (Hill) Ross. He was the owner of the Esau Ross and Sons Market and a member of the Orie S. Ware Masonic Lodge #874. His parents, wife Elva (Barnett) Ross, brothers Jasper Ross, Jr., Thomas Lee Ross, and Fred Ross, and sisters Shirely Sluss and Flora Crowe precede him in death. Survivors include sons Jimmy Ross and Jerry Ross both of Stearns, Kentucky, brothers Lonzo Ross of Strunk, Kentucky and Jim Ross of Stearns, Kentucky, and sister Lora Mae Ross of Pine Knot, Kentucky. 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive. Masonic service provided by Orie S. Ware Masonic Lodge #874 Monday April 4, 2011 at 7pm. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
