Ernest Lee Keith, age 83, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at the V A Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 5, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the McCreary County Funeral home with Bro. Estle Jones and Rev. Kelly Tucker officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
Mr. Keith was born May 26, 1928 in White Oak Junction. He was the son of the late Osburn Keith and Nancy Phillips Keith.
He was a concrete laborer and served in the Korean War with the U S Army. He was a member of American Legion Post 115, and he was also a member of the Mountain View United Baptist Church.
His mother and father, brothers Paul Keith, Ralph Keith, James Keith and sisters Clella Worley, Marie Keith, precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Keith, Stearns, Ky. the following sons and daughters, Nancy Keith; Somerset, Ky. Joyce Perkins and husband Adam; Stearns, Ky. Rhonda Wesley and husband Bruce; Attica Ind. Sharon Rose Keith Monticello, Ky; Arthur Keith, Ernest Lee Keith Jr., Leamon Dodds all of Stearns, Ky. The surviving brothers and sisters are Donald Keith, Osburn Jr. Keith both of Williamsburg Ky Smiley Keith and Reba Jones both of Pine Knot, Ky. Eleven Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren also survives.
