Ernest "Eddie" Edward Douglas

Ernest “Eddie” Edward Douglas, age 46 years, of the Worley Hilltop Community, died Friday, March 12, 2021 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on June 12, 1974 the son of James Estel and Corita (Ross) Douglas. Eddie was a member of the Pleasant Rock United Baptist Church, enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and also going to Bingo.

His father precedes him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Corita Douglas of Stearns; son, Jamison Parker Douglas of Parkers Lake; daughter, Anessa Nicole Douglas of Parkers Lake; and brother, James “Jimmy” Estel Douglas, Jr. (Erica) of Winfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11am-12pm Tuesday, March 16 , 2021 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow in the Angel Cemetery with Bro. Isaiah Wilson officiating.
