Erie Jeanette Jones, age 66 years, Whitley City, Kentucky died August 22, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Hurstle Daugherty officiating. Burial was in McCreary Memorial Gardens. VISITATION FROM NOON UNTIL FUNERAL TIME. BURIAL IN MCCREARY MEMORIAL GARDENS. She was born at Akron, Ohio on July 26, 1944 the daughter of Reba Leveridge Meadows and the late Andrew Meadows. She was a seamstress and member Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post #115. She was a member of Marshes Siding Baptist Church. Her son, Bryan Meadows; her father, Andrew Meadows and her brother, Seldon Meadows, precede her in death. Survivors include her mother, Reba Meadows, Whitley City, Kentucky; her children, Judy (husband) T.C.; Roy (wife) Jennifer; Teddy (wife) Kristy; Brandon (wife) Ashley all of Sevierville, Tennessee and Joy (husband) Tony, Oneida, Tennessee. The surviving brothers and sister are Edward Meadows wife, Dee, Marshes Siding, Kentucky; Bill Meadows wife, Melissa, Madisonville, Tennessee; Jim Meadows, Maryville, Tennessee; Wayne Meadows wife, Trish; Charles Meadows, Whitley City, Kentucky; Betty Meadows, Munsford, Arizona and David Meadows, Jessup, Georgia. Eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren survive as do a host of special nieces, nephews and friends. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
