Elwood Burton, age 50 years, died Friday September 23, 2011 at his home in McKinney, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Wednesday September 28, 2011 at 12noon in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Tate officiating. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 22, 1961 the son of Elmer Elwood Burton and the late Fayrene Barnett. He worked in construction, of the Church of God Faith, traded on cars, guns, etc., and enjoyed fishing.
His mother precedes him in death.
Survivors include his father Elmer Elwood Burton and his wife, Rosemary, of Ocala, Florida, son Lonnie William Elwood Burton of McKinney, Kentucky, brother Tommy Elliot of Peoples, Ohio, sisters Phyllis Hartness and husband Clarence of McKinney, Kentucky, Lisa Elliot of Peoples, Ohio, Tina Burton and Judy Burton both of Hillsboro, Ohio, Alice Turner of Hammerville, Ohio, Misty Turner and Crystal Turner both of Ocala, Florida.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
