ELOISE BOWMAN

Eloise Bowman, age 88 of Melrose, Florida Passed from this life on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Roberts Hospice Care Center in Palatka, Florida.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Trinity Temple Church, Hwy 2792, Pine Knot, KY. with Rev. Stanley Taylor officiating.  Sister Faye Sexton, a special friend will speak too.  She will be laid to rest in the Hawthorne Cemetery in Hawthorne, FL.

Eloise is the mother of Sue Taylor wife of Rev. Stanley Taylor, Strunk, KY. Gene Douglas (Tracy) who took care of her in Florida for ten years, Wayne Douglas (Friend Janet), Kokomo, IN, her children loved her so very much and she loved them too.  She was a wonderful mother.

She has three sisters, Jean Rush, Jayetta Howard (Bob), Judy Burton (Bob), one brother, Billy Allen (Darlene), all live in Kokomo, IN., two brothers, Arnold Allen (June) and Jimmy Allen, Hawthorne, FL, one brother Doug Allen (Barbara), Lafollette, TN, Stepmother of Bernice Richards (Emmit), Lima OH, Wanda Steed (Bob), Speedwell, TN.  Stepson, John Bowman (Betty), Lima, OH.

Her father and mother, Walter and Flora Allen, two brothers Charles and Mack Allen, three husbands, Rev. Gene Douglas, father of her three children, Albert Waits, Walter Bowman, father of her stepchildren, two stepsons, Paul & Damon Bowman all proceeded her in death.

She has 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 + 1 on the way great, great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Eloise, our mother & grandmother was a wonderful and loving mother (mommy), a Christian mother, she loved the Lord with all her heart and soul.

What we have lost is heaven’s gain.
