Ellen Oneeda Honeycutt New passed from this life on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Beech Tree Manor in Jellico, Tennessee, being 67 years old. She was born in Honey Bee, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ira Shelby Perry and Edna Walker Perry.
She was a member of the Indian Creek United Baptist Church, North McCreary Fire Department and Volunteer Hospice worker.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Roy Roger Honeycutt, and her brothers: Ronald Perry and Ray Perry.
Surviving family includes: Husband Riley New, sons: Gary Honeycutt (Suellen), Tim Honeycutt (Tarasa), stepson: Mikey New ( Donna), daughter: Rita Matthews ( Harvey Jr), stepdaughter: Amy New, brothers: Arthur Walker ( Betty) of Gibsonburg, OH, Mike (Helen) Perry of Somerset, KY, Wayne (Kathy) Perry of Parkers Lake, KY, sisters: Wendell Lawson (George) of Tiffin, Ohio, Ruth Ann (Jerry) Wheeler of Parkers Lake, KY, sisters-in-law, Joyce Perry and Renee Perry, twelve grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral Services: Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Honeycutt and Rev. Bill Patrick officiating.
