Ella Mae Winchester, age 88 years, of the Hilltop Community deceased this life at her home surrounded by her loving family on June 29, 2010. Funeral services were held Friday July 2, 2010 at 11am in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie King and Rev. Hoyt Davis officiating. Burial was in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery. VISITATION AFTER 6:00PM, THURSDAY, JULY 1, 2010. She was born May 22, 1922 in Parmleysville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Walter and Polly Davis Burnett. She was a postmaster assistant, merchant, and a member of the New Haven United Baptist Church. Her parents, husband R.W. ODubO Winchester, daughter Joyce Whalen, brothers Walter Frank Burnett and Lyle Burnett, and sister Edna Winchester precede her in death. Survivors include daughters Vina New and Donna Hill both of Stearns, Kentucky, sisters Henrietta Koger, Lucille Jones, and Dora Corder all of Muncie, Indiana. Grandchildren Shelia Wallis (Marsden), Myra New (John Lennon, Wayne New (Cindy), Angie Hopkins (Ronnie), Rhonda Bryant (Anthony), and Chris New (Karen), great grandchildren Jeana Campbell, Jonathon Campbell, Miranda West (Steven), Deana Keith (Rusty Crabtree), Brandon New, Jessica Mason (Nathan), Austin Dean, Shayna Hughes, Tyler Bryant, Mason Bryant, Rheanna New, and Travis New, and great great grandchildren Justine Campbell, Dillon Simpson, Gavin West, Kylee West, Kyler Mason, and Rashell Crabtree also survive.
