Ella Mae “Grace” Goodin, age 57 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Honeybee, Kentucky on February 11, 1962 the daughter of Willis P. and Linda Evelyn (Ridner) Goodin. Ella was raised by Rev. Dow and Ella Goodin. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist Faith, and loved collecting dolphins, house cleaning and her grandchildren and family.
Her parents; son, Freddie “BJ” Goodin; brothers, Claude Goodin, Willis Goodin, Jr., and Roy Goodin; and sisters, Dorothy Ridner, Elsie Mae Goodin, and Irene Ross precede her in death.
Survivors include her son, David Lee Goodin of Pine Knot; daughter, Daisy Goodin (Edwin Loudermilk) of Georgia; brothers, Rev. Dow Goodin (Ellen), Howard Goodin (Joyce), both of Parkers Lake and Kenny Goodin (Geneva) of Whitley City; sisters, Janie Hurd of Parkers Lake, Carolyn Coleman (Dave) of Burnside, and Linda Sue Vanover of Pine Knot; grandchildren, Rhiannon Creekmore, Stormi Goodin, Anthony Goodin, Tony Goodin, Hunter Cooper, Kyle Bruce, Cody Bruce, Candy Bruce, and Jacob Bruce, and great granddaughter, Sophia Creekmore.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 2pm in the Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Dow Goodin and Bro. John Goodin officiating. Burial will follow in the Heaven’s Gate Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Monday, December 9, 2019 at the church.
