Edward (Eddie) Kan Baird, age 71 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died December 13, 2012 at his home. Funeral services were held Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 2pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Watters and Rev. Hurstle Daugherty officiating. Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery.
He was born in Helenwood, Tennessee on October 8, 1941 the son of the late Kan and Flora Mae (Trammell) Baird. He was a home health CNA and member of the Marshes Siding Church of God.
His parents; wife, Betty (Cooper) Baird; daughter, Sandra Keith and husband, Donald; and sister in law, Sue Baird precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Tucker) Keith Baird of Strunk, Kentucky; sons, Jeff Baird and wife, Denise of Revelo, Kentucky and Timothy Baird and wife, Rhonda of Strunk, Kentucky; brother, Charles Baird of Georgetown, Kentucky; and sister, Anna Sharp and husband, Richard of Goshen, Ohio. 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
