EDEN SARGENT

Eden Sargent, age 93 years, of Cincinnati, Ohio formerly of McCreary County, Kentucky died September 25, 2010 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie King officiating. Burial was in Smith Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 11AM WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 29, 2010 UNTIL FUNERAL TIME AT THE FUNERAL HOME. He was born at Jamestown, Kentucky on June 24, 1917 the son of the late Henry Clay and Niceann Stephens Sargent, He was a retired coal miner. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Mae Richardson Sargent; a daughter, Joyce Wood and his parents. The deceased brothers and sisters are, Ephraim Sargent; Maynard Sargent, one infant brother; Valley, Ethel Perry and Allie Perry. One grandchild is deceased. Survivors include his son, Paul Sargent and wife, Pam, Cincinnati, Ohio. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
