Eddie "Trader" Ray Waters

Eddie Ray “Trader” Waters, age 64 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died January 2, 2021 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in Jellico, Tennessee on December 24, 1956 the son of Hollis Waters and Lora Mae (Slaven) Waters. Eddie had worked as a car salesman, enjoyed working on mowers, 4-wheeling, and hot rods.

His parents; step father, Dewey Davis; and brothers, Hollis Waters, and Danny Wilson precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa (Phillips) Waters of Pine Knot; sons, Cody Waters and wife, Miranda, Dustin Wilson, Michael Lyons, Rocky Martin, and James Martin all of Pine Knot; daughters, Tammy Longmire of Tennessee and Venise Cornett of London; sister, Cassie Hardwick of Pine Knot; and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Spradlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Waters-Davis Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
