Dovie New Keith, age 87 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died November 29, 2010 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday December 2, 2010 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Shepherd and Bro. Randy Hacker officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 6PM WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 1, 2010 AT THE FUNREAL HOME. She was born November 16, 1923 in Nevelsville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Miles and Mary (Roberts) Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Day Ridge Church of God. Her parents, husbands Gaylon New and Marshall Keith, brothers Harm Martin and Dallas Martin, and sisters Myrtle New and Thelma Martin precede her in death. Survivors include her son Dillard New and wife Wendy of Marshes Siding, Kentucky, daughter Irene Stanton and husband Ralph of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and sister Hettie Petrey of Amherst, Ohio. Five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
