Dora Etta Bryant

Dora Etta Bryant, age 85 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Monday, September 12, 2022 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born in Pleasant Run, Kentucky on May 21, 1937 the daughter of Arthur “Cricket” and Minnie (Worley) Gilreath.  Dora enjoyed ginseng hunting, and 4 wheeling, but her greatest joy was taking care of her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ranzie Bryant; sons, Earl Bryant, Danny Bryant, and Ray Bryant; brothers, Johnny Gilreath and Pete Gilreath; and sister, Pernie Walker.

Survivors include her brothers, Cecil Gilreath and Charlie Gilreath both of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sisters, Fay Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio and Ann Perry of Pine Knot, Kentucky; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 4-5pm Friday, September 16, 2022 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Run Cemetery.
