He retired from South Kentucky RECC after 32 years of service. During those years he worked with a very special group of co workers whom he loved like a second family.
Don served as a Deacon of the Whitley City Church of God since 1983, he served in several different ministries, the most important being a wonderful prayer warrior. His church family voted him in as the churchâs first ever âFather of the Yearâ this honor truly touched him.
He loved his family and his three beautiful grand babies, the times he spent with them were some of his happiest.
He was an avid antique car buff and if you spent any time at all around him he would make you aware of that fact. Don will be greatly missed by family and friends, but soon we plan to meet him at that big antique car show in Heaven.
