DONNIE GIBSON

Donnie Gibson, age 56 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died October 19, 2010 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday October 23, 2010 at 3pm in the McCreary County Funeral home with Rev. David Troxell officiating. Burial was in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery. VISITATION AFTER 1:00PM SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2010. He was born in Lafollette, Tennessee on March 10, 1954 the son of the late Charlie and Clara Berniece (Young) Gibson. He was a machine operator in an aluminum foundry and a member of the White Oak Junction Baptist Church. His parents and brothers Willard Gibson and Harold D. Gibson precede him in death. Survivors include his sons Donovan Gibson and wife Chelsie of Stearns, Kentucky and Devin Gibson of Champagne, Illinois, daughters Sheena Gibson and Jasmine Gibson both of Whitley City, Kentucky, brothers Willie Gibson and Damon Gibson both Whitley City, Kentucky Howard Gibson of Eubank, Kentucky Hershel Gibson and Wayne Gibson of Pine Knot, Kentucky, sisters Linda Babb and Virgie Frasure both of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Charlene Pushalla of Cynthiana, Kentucky, Juanita Lackey of Parker, Indiana, Nola Hamilton of Jamestown, Kentucky, Mildred Davis of Beaver Dam, Kentucky and Lois Mikesell of Muncie, Indiana. Grandchild Raiden Gibson also survives. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
