DONALD LEROY FRYE

Donald Leroy Frye, age 73 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died April 21, 2011 in Oneida, Tennessee at the St. MaryOs of Scott County Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday April 25, 2011 at 11am in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie King officiating. Burial will be in the Burlington Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AFTER 6PM SUNDAY APRIL 24, 2011 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. He was born in Muncie, Indiana on August 30, 1937 the son of the late James Ted and Catheryn L. (Sands) Frye. He was a mechanic, member of Teamsters and known as Icicle on the CB. His parents precede him in death. Survivors include his wife Georgia (Caddell) Frye, sons Donald Scott Frye and wife Amanda of Burlington, Kentucky and Danny Jones and wife Pam of Cincinnati, Ohio, daughters Dhana Hillenbrand of Florence, Kentucky, Denise Schank and husband Eric of Burlington, Kentucky, and Kathy Gorman of Stearns, Kentucky, brothers Sam Frye and wife Van of Anderson, Indiana, James Frye and wife Vickie of Chesterfield, Indiana, and Dennis Meranda and wife Stella of Muncie, Indiana, and sisters Sylvia Mikel of Muncie, Indiana and Jeri Wood and husband Bob of Anderson, Indiana. 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
