Dinah Sue Trammell, 69, of Burnside, went to heaven July 4th, 2014 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Born July 11, 1944, in San Angelo, Texas, she was preceded in death by
her parents, Howard and Mary Alcorn Trammell. A retired nurse, she was a
graduate of McCreary County High School and the University of Kentucky. For
many years, she was an active member of Porter Memorial Baptist Church in
Lexington. Dinah Sue was a caring vibrant woman whose spirit will live on with
those who knew and loved her. Survivors include a brother, Thomas Trammell,
Woodstock, GA, two sisters, Jane (Jim) Mayer, Peoria, IL, and Nancy (Mark)
Tackett, Bella Vista AR, 3 nephews, James (Heather) Mayer and sons Braeden
and Avery, Carbondale IL; Andrew Tackett, Memphis TN, Nicholas Tackett,
Fayetteville AR; one niece, Aimee Tackett, Grove, OK;
aunts and uncles, Esther Manning, Oak Ridge TN, Wilma and Gene Mullins, Fairborn, OH, Joe and Anita

Visitationat 2pm and funeral service at 3 p.m. July 19th at McCreary County Funeral Home in
Whitley City with private interment Pine Knot Cemetery. Sue loved flowers but would have
appreciated a gift to your favorite charity instead.
