DIANA IMOGENE KING

Diana Imogene King, age 73 years, of Marshes Siding, Kentucky died June 8, 2011 at her home. Visitation was held Friday June 10, 2011 from 5pm-7pm at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial was in the Carter Cemetery. She was born in Strunk, Kentucky on April 30, 1938 the daughter of the late Willard and Ella Mae (King) King. She was a seamstress and a member of the Second Baptist Church. Her parents, first husband Doris Lyons, sons Donald Glen Lyons and Doris Lynn Lyons, and brothers Ronnie King, Donnie King, and David King precede her in death. Survivors include her husband Darel L. King, sons Gary Lyons and Clay Lyons all of Marshes Siding, Kentucky, brothers Larry King and John Paul King, and sisters Barbara Underwood and Phyllis Claxton all of Strunk, Kentucky. 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
