Debra Sue Stephens

Debra Sue Stephens, age 67 years, of Marshes Siding, Kentucky died Monday, September 4, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky on November 25, 1955 the daughter of Elbert and Nancy (Loudermilk) Watson.  Debra was a homemaker, and enjoyed being home with family and friends where she watched the children play.

Her parents; son, Eddie Davis; brothers, Roger Watson, Delmer Watson, Lloyd Watson, James Watson, Roy Watson, David Watson, Henry Watson, and 2 infants; and sisters, Mary Daugherty, Wilma Allen, Barbara Vanover, Nancy Watson, and Evelyn Otten precede her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Jeannie Smith (Charles) of Pine Knot, Kentucky and Tabitha Corder (Johnny) of Stearns, Kentucky; brother, Gorman “Bunt” Watson of Whitley City, Kentucky; grandchildren, Charles Smith, Cecil Smith, Charlsey Carson, Whitney Taylor, Destany Corder, Abigail Corder, Keeairra Corder, Angel Parriman, Tiffany Canada, Ashley Sumner, Eddie Davis, Jr. and Tammy Hill; and 25 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3pm Friday, September 8, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Scottie Corder and Bro. Thomas Corder officiating. Burial will follow in the Barren Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1pm Friday at the Funeral Home.
