David Wayne King, age 58 years, of Monticello, Kentucky died September 3, 2011 at his home. Memorial services were held Wednesday September 7, 2011 at 4pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. David Troxell and Bro. Tim Whitehead officiating.
He was born April 10, 1953 the son of the Curtis King and the late Martha (Slaven) King. He was an Archeologist and of the Baptist Faith.
His mother Martha King precedes him in death.
Survivors include his daughter Amber June Powers and husband William Douglas of Nashville, Tennessee, father Curtis King of Jamestown, Tennessee, brothers Jim C. King of Monticello and Jeffrey Allen King of Tennessee, and sister Kathy Ann King of Los Angeles, California. Grandchildren Brock Colson Powers, William Barrett Powers, and Katelyn Gail Powers also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
