Darlene Marie Barnett

Darlene Marie Barnett, age 53 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Monday, March 4, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 24, 1970 the daughter of Orville Barnett and Iva (Sears) Duncan.  Darlene was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing, adult coloring books, and especially being with her grandchildren.

Her father, Orville Barnett precedes her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Iva Duncan of Whitley City, Kentucky; daughters, Tiffany Barnett of Whitley City, Kentucky and Roxanna Vanover of Indiana; fiancé, Boyd Parriman of Whitley City, Kentucky; stepdaughters, Maggie McDonald of Revelo, Kentucky and Amanda Walls of Whitley City, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Shelby Parriman, Brennen Clark, Zakery Lee Morris Bates, and Aden Hercules Diaz.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Rufus Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Vanover Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
