Danny Lee Fletcher, age 54 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died September 30, 2012 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Friday October 5, 2012 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. David Troxell officiating. Burial was in the Fletcher Cemetery.
He was born in Lima, Ohio on March 23, 1958 the son of the late Richard Fletcher and Wanda May (Perkins) Green. He was a welder for OVC and a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church.
His parents; sons, Everett Fletcher, Timmy Fletcher, and Richie Fletcher; and brothers, Michael Fletcher and Don Junior Watkins precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife Dora (Perkins) Fletcher of Strunk, Kentucky; sons, David Fletcher of Columbus, Ohio, Thomas Perkins, Danny Fletcher II, and Michael Fletcher all of Strunk, Kentucky; daughters, Carrie Fletcher of Strunk, Kentucky, Lisa Fletcher of Somerset, Kentucky, Carol Lee Fletcher of Toledo, Ohio, and Regina Anderson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and sisters, Diana Manner of Buffalo, New York, and Brenda Prater, Sherry Howard, and Janet Gilliam all of Salyersville, Kentucky. 7 grandchildren also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
