Dallas Buis, age 69 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died October 29, 2013 at his home in Beulah Heights, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Patrick officiating. Burial was in the Higginbotham Cemetery.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 10, 1944 the son of the late Jesse and Ruby (Clark) Buis. He was a welder and a member of the Indian Creek United Baptist Church.
His parents; one son, Daren Buis; a brother, Paris Buis; two sisters; Juanita Earls and Imogene Wilson precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Vanover Buis, sons; Dwayne Buis of Cincinnati, Ohio, Damon Buis of Whitley City, Kentucky, and 7 grandchildren also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
