Curtis Wayne Worley, born January 1, 1953 in Sumter, South Carolina to Ottis Worley and the late, Gladys Corder Worley.He was the husband of Georgia Worley and the father of Ariel Worley Hubbard and Jason Wayne Worley. He was a retired school teacher of the McCreary County School System, and a member of the Clearview United Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 11:00 am at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Hobert Corder and Rev. John Duvall Jr. officating. Burial followed in the Mill Creek Cemetery.
Curtis departed this life on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
His mother, Gladys Corder Worley and brother, Timothy Worley precede him in death. Curtis was a loving husband of 30 years and a precious father.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Worley of Whitley City, Kentucky, daughter, Ariel Worley Hubbard and husband, Jonathan, of Louisville, Kentucky, son, Jason Wayne Worley of Knoxville, Tennessee, his father, Ottis Worley of Stearns, Kentucky, brothers, Lon Worley and wife, Sherry, of Millbrook, Alabama, and Michael Worley and wife, Patricia, of Stearns, Kentucky, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends all of which will miss him greatly.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
