Curtis Sloan Kidd

Curtis Sloan Kidd, (Junior) age 67, of Stearns, Kentucky, husband of Madgedean Inman Kidd, passed from this life January 8, 2022 at his home, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Oneida, TN., on May 24, 1954 to the late Curtis Kidd Sr. and Wilma Worley.

In addition to his parents, Curtis is preceded in death by his grandparents Willis and Ollie Worley who raised him as their own, a brother, Wendell Jerry Kidd; Infant daughter Maydean Kidd; sisters, Sue Duncan, Eva Meadows and Ollie Kidd.
Surviving family include his wife, Madgedean Kidd; sons, Kenny Curtis and wife Dana Kidd of Stearns, Denny and wife Lyndsey Kidd of Whitley City, brother, Carl Kidd of Pine Knot; sister, Patricia and Scott Lovett of Pine Knot; grandchildren, Kennor, Keaton and Katrina Kidd.
Curtis worked as a coal miner for the Stearns Company and was a member of Mountain View United Baptist Church. He enjoyed bee keeping, hunting and being outdoors, spending time with Wife and old music especially Elvis and he was very proud of his kids and grandkids.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 1:00 pm, Brother Wayne Inman officiating, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am until time for funeral service. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. FAMILY HAS REQUESTED EVERYONE WHO ATTENDS VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICE TO PLEASE WEAR MASK..
