Connie Sue Dobbs

Connie Dobbs, age 62, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. 

Born in Springfield, IL, on November 30, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Jones) Dennis.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dobbs and son; Jason Coy Dobbs, and brothers; Gary and Robbie Dennis.

Surviving family include children; Richard and wife Carol Dobbs, Greg and wife Amanda Dobbs, Melissa and husband Bryan King,  Vicki Dobbs, all of Stearns, Kentucky. 

Connie had worked as a cook for the school system and a janitor for Sheraton Inn.  She was a member of the Methodist Church in Illinois.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies, picnicking with her family, gardening, canning and cooking.  Connie enjoyed listening to music and singing, sewing and scrapbooking.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2018, in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home.  She will be laid to rest at the Corder Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday morning 11:00 a.m. until time for funeral services.
