Cleta Bryant

Cleta Bryant, age 87 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died May 2, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Sawyer, Kentucky on July 24, 1934 the daughter of Joe Morgan and Telvis (Anders) Morgan Hamilton.  Cleta was a homemaker and member of the Mill Creek Methodist Church. Her enjoyment in life was cooking, quilting, gardening, and busting black walnuts in the winter time.

Her parents; husband, Eckle Bryant; son Allen Bryant; daughters, Becky Lynn Perry and Vickie Taylor; and brothers, Clarence Morgan, Green Morgan, Ray Morgan, and Harold Morgan precede her in death.

Survivors include her son, Jay Bryant (Carolyn) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; daughters, Doris Goins (Dave) and Jennifer Butler both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sisters, Gertrude Wilson of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Imogene Staley of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and Mildred Warman of Somerset, Kentucky; a special sister, Pearlie Ridener; 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and many others who considered her a grandmother.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Cook and Bro. Ronnie Decker officiating. Burial will be in the Bryant Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the Funeral Home.
