Clayton D. Loudermilk, age 73 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died July 14, 2014 in Knoxville, Tennessee at the UT Medical Center. Funeral services were held Friday, July 18, 2014 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Sumner and Bro. Lenville Maxwell officiating. Burial was in the Taylor Ridge Cemetery.
He was born in Whitley City, Kentucky on February 8, 1941 the son of the late Ledford and Pearl Mae (Murphy) Loudermilk. He was a mixer at the Dolly Madison Bakery and a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church.
His parents; brothers, Melvin Loudermilk, Marvin Loudermilk, Jake Loudermilk, and Clarence Loudermilk; and sister, Mary Lou Vance precede him in death.
Survivors include his son, Joie Loudermilk and wife, Angie of Winter Haven, Florida; daughter, Valerie Loudermilk of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Jim Loudermilk of Whitley City, Kentucky; sisters, Glenna Jones of Dayton, Ohio, Nora Dean Trammell of North Carolina, and Wanda Loudermilk of Pine Knot, Kentucky; special friend Hazel âCookieâ Davis of Pine Knot, Kentucky; grandchildren, Andrew Loudermilk, Adam Triplett, Cole Muller, and Clay Muller; and a great grandchild, Haidyn Barnes.
