Chester Leon Douglas, age 62 years, of Winfield, Tennessee, died August 27, 2011 at the St. Mary’s Scott County in Oneida, Tennessee. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Rufus Hughes officiating. Burial was in the Douglas Family Cemetery.
He was born in Oneida, Tennessee on March 25, 1949, the son of Emma Marie (Daughtery) Douglas and the late Alford Kenny Douglas. He was a Coal Miner and attended the Kingtown Baptist Church.
His father, Alford Douglas, daughter Julie Lynn Douglas, and brother, Estil James Douglas precedes him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Emma Douglas of Winfield, Tennessee, son Chester Allen Douglas and wife, Amber Nichole, of Harriman, Tennessee, daughter Crystal Lee Wisner and husband, Chris, of Oneida, Tennessee, sisters, Loretta Richardson and husband, Troy, of Winfield, Tennessee, and Wilma Maxwell and husband, Johnny, of Stearns, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Cheslee, Jonnie, Jadyn, Josie, Christian, Anslee, and Michael also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
