Charles Golman Tucker age 75 of Stearns, Kentucky, died Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 1:00 pm with Rev. David Troxell and Bro. Ervin Foster officiating. Burial followed in the Nancy Grave Cemetery.
He was born March 16, 1937 in McCreary County, Kentucky to Harrison Tucker and Ida (Godsey) Tucker. Charles was a member of the Hill Top Baptist Church and was formerly a truck driver. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and fishing.
His mother, father, son, Gary Dean Tucker, and sisters, Marie Tucker, Addie Koger, and Eva Taylor precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Fay Tucker of Stearns, Kentucky; sons, Jesse Charles Tucker and wife, Talina, of Stearns, Kentucky, Jackie Wayne Tucker and wife, Betsey, of Wayne County, Kentucky, Joey Alan Tucker, David James Tucker and Michael Scott Tucker, all of Stearns, Kentucky; daughters, Kathy Sue Jones and husband, Eddie of Wayne County, Kentucky and Phyllis Marie Stephens and Ray, of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sisters, Audrey Gregory and Odie Jones, both of Whitley City, Kentucky; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
