Charlene (Wilson) Watters

Charlene Watters, age 86 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died Monday March 18, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Jellico, Tennessee the daughter of the late Shelby and Julie (Tucker) Wilson. Charlene had been a homemaker and attended the Beulah Heights Church of God. Sewing, cooking, but most importantly being with her grandchildren were her favorite things in life.

Her parents; sons, Elmer Watters and Mark Watters; brothers, Web Wilson, Cleo Wilson, Donald Wilson, and Clyde Wilson; and a sister, Evelyn Keeton precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Watters of Stearns, Kentucky; daughter, Kathy Gibson and husband Tim of Stearns, Kentucky; grandchildren, Brian Gibson (Crystal), Cindy Perry (Jason), Justin Watters (Tara), Jared Watters, and Courtney Johnson (Drew); and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, March 22, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Inman officiating. Burial will follow in the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Friday at the Funeral Home.
