CATHY ANN KING

Cathy Ann King, age 63, of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the Pioneer Community Hospital in Oneida, Tennessee.

Memorial services will be scheduled for a later date as the family has chosen cremation.

Cathy was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, on April 23, 1952, the daughter of the late Jimmy “Hick” and Margaret (Stone) Warner.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers; Dudley Thomas Warner and Bobby James Warner and her father-in-law Lloyd King.

Surviving family include her husband Faron King of Whitley City, son Preston (and fiancé Valerie) of Pine Knot, daughter Michelle (and Randy) Kidd of Pine Knot, grandchildren; Cody, William and Natalie, her mother-in-law Lula King of Strunk,  a sister Mary Linda Copher of Owingsville, Kentucky, five nephews; Bobby Hart (Kimberly), Dayton, OH; Rogie Copher (Stephanie), Winchester, KY, Jim Warner, Maysville, KY, Ryan Smith (Regina), Maysville, KY and Michael Smith (Michael Smith (Michelle), Virginia Beach, VA.  She is also survived by four great nieces and three great nephews and one cousin Shella Sue Bailey (Walter). 

Cathy was a homemaker but had worked as the deli supervisor for Kroger.  She also had worked for Cowan Manufacturing.  Her favorite pastime was going to flea markets and yard sales.  She enjoyed sewing and quilting and she was a very good cook.
