Carolyn Sue Phillips

Carolyn Sue Phillips, age 51 years, daughter of Roy and Jacqueline Canada Phillips of Whitley City, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

She was born September 15, 1967 in Somerset, KY. She enjoyed cooking, camping, decorating, and dancing but what she enjoyed most is spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her daughters, Rebecca and husband  Curtis Head of Whitley City and Leanora Taylor also of Whitley City; brother, Charles Phillips and wife Kristen of Monticello, KY; Grandchildren, Kayden Phillips, Gabriella Gibson, Raleigh Head and Paislee Head.  She also leaves numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation service for Carolyn will be Thursday at 11:00 am until time for Funeral service at 1:00 pm here at McCreary County Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bill Meadows and Brother Tom Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Phillips Cemetery.
