Carl “Pete†Wyatt, age 59 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died February 21, 2012 in Lexington, Kentucky at the UK Medical Center. Funeral services were held Friday, February 24, 2012 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Jones officiating. Burial was in the Wyatt Cemetery.
He was born in Whitley City, Kentucky the son of the late Harold and Ethel (Martin) Wyatt. He was a logger and a member of the Whitley City Church of God.
His parents and brothers, Roy Wyatt and Jim Wyatt precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife Mildred (Murphy) Wyatt, son, Carl Lee Wyatt both of Whitley City, Kentucky, and daughters, Becky Wyatt of Whitley City and Grace Wilson of Pine Knot, Kentucky, brother Lawrence Wyatt, and sisters, Mary Troxell, Francis Terry, Wanda Roberts, Judy Chitwood, Martha Wyatt, Brenda Wyatt, and Betty Wyatt all of Whitley City, Kentucky and Normalee Maxey of Somerset, Kentucky, and Gladys Adkins of Knoxville, Tennessee. Grandchildren Katlen Murphy, Carlos Gage Wyatt, Kamryn Dishman, Colton Wilson, Hailey Wilson, Devin Dishman, and Gabby Dishman also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
