Carl Lee Kidd

Carl Lee Kidd, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, departed from this life at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital on April 6, 2015 being 76 years, 5 months, and 29 days old. He was born in Jellico, Tennessee on October 8, 1938 to the late Richard and Rose E. (Richmond) Kidd.

He was a Carpentered and Factory Worker for many years; he was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Carl Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, anything outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and friends. 

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Vonda (Taylor) Kidd whom he married on October 16, 1992 prior to their marriage they had been companions since 1980; brother; Darrell Kidd and step sons; Wayne Garland and Wendell Garland.

Survivors include his sons; Trent Kidd (Toni) of Pine Knot, KY, Ricky Kidd (Jewell)  of Pine Knot, KY, Gary Kidd of Pine Knot, KY, Jeffery Kidd (Sharon) of Strunk, KY, Raymond Prewitt of Stearns, KY, Wade Garland of Strunk, KY, daughter; Loretta Burke (Mike) of Stearns, KY, Carla Reese of Louisville, KY, Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a host of other relative’s.

Funeral Servcies will be conducted on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral with Randall Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 11:00- 1:00 at the funeral home. McCreary County Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements of Mr. Carl Lee Kidd
